By joining our team, you will play a vital role in making an impact for our clients and the people they serve through our growth strategy, enhanced user experiences, and engagement through the entire lifecycle of customers' interactions with the public sector.Work you'll do Support strategic communications program workstreams, manage day to day marketing priorities, and organize resources. Collaborate through development of all deliverables and talking points to align with client mission. Strategic Communications focuses on sharing technology progress, empowering technical, non-technical, domestic, and our field customers to perform work effectively and serve as champions for diplomatic technology.The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.Our team works with agencies to transform, elevate, and modernize constituent-government experiences by creating brands, developing content, and implementing best-in-class technology and strategies to inspire engagement, influence behavior, and drive adoption across the country.Qualifications Required:

Bachelor Degree in Communications

7+ years of experience in writing and editing, and/or digital communication strategy, and/or client service delivery

Demonstrated understanding of the adoption of technology and its impact to future operating models and organizational structures

Project management experience

Successful management of media relations

Proven ability to follow established standards and maintain brand continuity

Ability to deliver consistent, high-value services on a cross-section of complex customer and citizen centric projects

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

Master Degree in Communications

Experience managing strong client relationships and helping them identify needs

A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and communication skills

Experience supporting new web portal development and enhancements to an existing public-facing web application

Experience communicating complex ideas graphically within a complex environment (public sector preferred)
