Assist Asian adults with disabilities in gaining skills towards greater independence and self-advocacy in their community! If you are caring and community oriented, we are looking for you! The Community Integrations Specialist is a part of a training and development program. This position works with Asian adults with disabilities both in the home, and out in the community. Individuals in this position help to assist and support program participants in various activities tailored to participant's interest, ability and needs. Activities include: Recreation/Leisure: outdoor activities, community events, exercising, shopping
Educational activities: money management, budgeting, safety awareness
Activities to enhance social skills and community involvement
Mobility training, transport consumers
Domestic skills, household chores, ordering food, and more!
Duties include:
Track each participant's progress toward reaching their individual goals, and act as their case manager.
Develop, review, and evaluate individual program plans
Records and report writing
Communicate with family members, care providers, case managers
Develop and maintain community contact
Qualifications:
Bilingual, Fluency in English and one of the following languages:
Cambodian, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese
Should be highly skilled in coaching, time management, cooperation/teamwork, developing positive professional relationships
Basic computer skills including emailing and Microsoft Word

Minimum Requirements:
Valid CA driver license and good driving record required.
Must meet State Licensing requirements involving health screening, 10 panel drug test, and Dept. of Justice clearance including fingerprinting and background check.
COVID-19 Vaccination - subject to religious or medical exemption requests
Masking is required at all program sites when in contact with any staff and/or participants
Position: Community Integrations Specialist Location: Richmond, CA Hours: Monday-Friday 25 hours a week Compensation: $19.50/hour plus great benefits!
