Staffer Overview:

Overall Responsibilities:

Support 5 Program Managers, plan deployments with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical direction of the program. You will work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure the delivery of networking infrastructure systems to support the core IP traffic demands which globally interconnect data center, backbone, and peering facilities to serve customers. You will manage multiple projects with a high degree of complexity and scope and will work closely with other Technical and Program/Product/Project Leadership to determine project priorities and resolve scheduling issues.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Support 5 Program Managers in daily work within team and partner organizations.

Manage various project deliverables including logistical oversight and material management.

Coordinate with teams on deployment scheduling for resources and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - 4-5 years of related experience. Relevant experience in technical project management of network deployment projects - High degree of knowledge in the network hardware, installation standards, fiber optics and industry wide network architecture standards - Ability to multitask across multiple partner teams - Be a self starter with the ability to navigate in abiquity

Education:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Years Experience:

4-5 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep understanding of projects managing the deployment of fiber optic and network infrastructure engineering design and construction projects - Proven project management skills. Effective use of Project Management tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling tools, dashboards), specifically the Workfront suite - Proven ability to manage project priorities and technical resources, plus relationships with multiple partner-teams, directors, and/or vendors - Ability to identify opportunities for and drive cross-functional process improvements across the organization - Exceptionally strong communication skills combined with a data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges
