Metal Stud Framing/Drywall/ACT Superintendent

We are a medium sized General Contractor looking for a Metal Stud, Drywall and ACT Superintendent to help expand our Drywall department.

The Drywall Superintendent will perform the following :

-Decipher and accurately read plans using both a computer and hard copies

-Provide materials take offs for the preconstruction department using a computer

-Order and coordinate material deliveries

-Job site layout and coordination with the job site Superintendent

-Lay out walls, blocking and ceilings

-Assist with job production as necessary

-Lead teams across multiple jobs in various stages

-Create and maintain internal schedule for workers under your jurisdiction on a daily basis

-Communicate progress and concerns with the job site Superintendents on a daily basis

-Offer solutions to problems while being a team player

-Be responsible for hiring framers, hangers, finishers and ACT installers

A drivers license, clean background and promptness is a must. We prioritize reliability, attitude, work ethic and dedication. If you have a poor attitude or do not get along well with others, this position is not for you.
