Position: Auto Recycling Team Member - General Laborer

Long’s Auto Recycling is a family-run Automotive Junkyard located in Hampton, VA.

Our team is looking to add a Long-Term/Permanent, Full-Time team member that is excited to join our growing business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow by working with a motivated team.

Experience is a plus but not required.

We are willing to train, but are looking for someone that is:

- Self-Motivated with time-management and organizational skills

- Willing to learn, adapt, multi-task, and works well under pressure in a fast paced environment

- Knowledgeable about cars and parts

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Draining cars

- Dismantling parts from cars

- Weighing scrap material

- Raking trash

- Cleaning up work areas

- Breaking down tires

Job Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license (able to travel with your own transportation to work)

- Must bring your own basic tools such as a “3/8 socket set”

- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

- Handle manual labor

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Pay: Starting pay is $13.50 per hour, with room to grow!

Higher starting pay if experienced. Rate of pay is based on experience and skill level.
