In-Home Attendant

I am seeking a dependable in-home attendant to provide direct care and daily living support for an adult male with special needs in a private residence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, hygiene, and mobility needs

Support daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping

Monitor and assist with medication routines (non-medical support)

Provide companionship and encourage engagement in appropriate activities

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space

Accompany the individual to appointments or community outings as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of [6 months / 1 year] experience in caregiving, home health, or related field

CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Must pass background and reference checks

Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to client dignity and confidentiality
