Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), HQ INSCOM (TS/SCI/CI Poly)

Job Summary

Lynxnet is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for the SIGINT network in support of HQ INSCOM G-6

Responsibilities :

Analyze and maintain a formal information system security program and policies

Develop and oversee operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines

Ensure client is equipped to maintain a balance of security and mission needs

Integrate secure practices in cyber engineering and operation

Help set and enforce security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures

Potentially serve as lead of 2-3 person section

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree

5 years' Cybersecurity / Information Assurance experience

Current DoD IAM III certification

Experience withXacta tools

CurrentDoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility (as indicated in JPAS)

Current CI Poly or willingness to obtain immediately upon employment

Experience with the intelligence community

Experience with maintaining a repository of all security authorizations for information system

Experience with coordinating information system security inspections, tests, and reviews

Experience with ensuring data ownership and responsibilities are established for each information system and specific requirements, including accountability, access, and special handling requirements are enforced

Knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Recent IC experience

Desired Qualifications :

Current CI Poly

Experience serving as an ISSM or ISSE in the IC

Recent high-level Cyber / IA DoD, Joint Staff, or Department of the Army experience
