Responsibilities

Assist with driver hiring and compliance process

Full life cycle of employee processing and support as needed in [TMS] Transportation Management System

Follow up with employees on missing items in system with a high degree of customer service

Must be detail oriented and high degree of accuracy and discretion with confidential materials

Works closely with the recruiters and managers to ensure a high degree of customer service and functional expertise to support new hires into the organization

Prepare New Hire Communication included correspondence such as Offer Letters

Completes TMS data entry and approvals for new hires, transfers and separations to include benefit transactions

Works closely with new hires and provides technical assistance as necessary to electronic on-boarding systems

Collaborates with HR/Safety Team to ensure timely completion of new hire documents

Duties for new hires when necessary

Runs reports as needed

Creates and maintains weekly new hire reports and runs other various reports as needed.

Support Director of H.S.S.E. & HR with generating and maintaining various reports, documents and compliance applications as needed

General HR Support

Takes general calls and emails from employees and advises them with high degree of customer service

perform employee verifications

Create Employee Folders and Employee Personnel filing

Create New Hire Binders and mailing

Administrative support with benefits & recognition support

Responsible for supporting Quality Assurance reviews for HR communications transactions

Supports Shared HR email coverage activities to answer employee questions and route requests to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert

Provide surge support for special projects as assigned

Other duties as assigned and when needed

Experience and Skills Required:

Valid Class A CDL required

2-3 years transportation or safety-related experience

Must be very detail oriented and extremely customer focused

Effective presentation and communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent required, prefer associate or bachelor degree

Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues are not required, but helpful for qualification

Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Consistent attendance and punctuality

Possess working vehicle for travel in service area

Reports to: Director of H.S.S.E. & HR
