Attendant needed for 27 year old male diagnosed with severe autism, communication disorder, intellectual disorder and clinically diagnosed OCD. Requires 100% supervision and assistance or prompting with most activities of daily living. Activities of Daily Living include hygiene support, meal preparation, cleaning and laundry. Engagement with community is essential. Must be willing to participate in caregiver applied behavior strategies by certified professionals. Hours typically include 1.5 hours weekdays beginning at 6:30 am and 4:00-9:00 on weekdays. Weekends are full days aside from 6 hours when another attendant takes a shift.

Non-negotiable pay is $13.34 hour. This job is paid through VA Dept of Medical Services. I cannot offer any additional compensation. There are no benefits such as medical insurance, retirement etc.

Candidate for job must have some experience work with adults with autism or special education, must have exceptional patience. Reliable transportation with a clean driving record is necessary,
