Working on the Defense Agencies Finance team, you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Our mission depends on a Senior Financial Analyst joining our Defense Agencies Finance Team supporting the Enterprise Mission Support Sector. The position offers the flexibility of a Hybrid work environment between our Falls Church Office and home.In this role, contributions to the mission include:
Provide strong Financial Analysis and Reporting for our DLA/DMLSS/DMDC Portfolio, annual revenue approximately $30M.
Responsibility for financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Financial Experience with multiple government contract types (i.e. FFP, CPFF etc)
Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments and levels of an organization
Identify, Track, Manage any financial risks and follow through to resolution.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as FAR, CAS, SOX and other government regulations. Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Analytical and problem solving mindset
Prepare financial updates, EACs and other corporate reporting requirements monthly close and forecasting process.
Ability to prepare / review pricing with recommendations for Management
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, plus 5+ years of related experience; OR 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
Experience with government contracting
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and/or complex modeling.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are a must.
Strong leadership skills: Ability to both support/guide while also challenging program team when needed
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and clients
Hybrid Work Location at Falls Church Office 3x per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics, Hyperion Smartview, and Subcontractor Timekeeping experience nice to have.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Knime is a plus
The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
