Job Description:

GDIT is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to support the DES/DHRA/Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) , Enterprise Managed IT Services (EMITS) II & Worldwide COTS Hardware, Software, Maintenance & Integration Services II (WWHWSW II) contract.

Candidates must have:
  • At least 7 Years' Work Experience , including 5 Years of DoD/Intel experience
  • At least 5 Years' Experience providing IT infrastructure services to DoD organizations, with experience providing IT support to NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments.
  • Experience with Cloud Service Delivery (Oracle Cloud or AWS Cloud preferred), Application Migration or Enterprise cloud computing technologies, with at least one Cloud certification.
  • Experience supporting Service Now integrations (including tool integration, automation and runbooks)
  • Experience with a Single-Pane-of-Glass (SPoG) or Centralized Dashboard of dashboards
  • Experience implementing automation of a DevOps and software-defined data center.
  • Experience supporting CyberSecurity and RMF (preferably in the Cloud)
  • One Cybersecurity Level III certification (any category or specialty), as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01.
  • Two or more computer environment certifications (e.g., EMC, Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, VMware, IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, Docker, etc.).
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience implementing multiple concurrent IT projects (e.g., cloud, network modernizations, capacity planning, application migrations, etc.).
  • A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
  • Minimum Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to gain a Top Secret Security Clearance

It is desired that candidates have:
  • Level III (IAM III) or higher certification, as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01).
  • Two or more computer environment certifications (e.g., EMC, Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, VMware, IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, Docker, etc.).
  • Experience providing CONUS and OCONUS support

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: 10-25%
