And our work depends on a Direct Operations Coordinator joining our team to support our Remote Operations team.Responsibilities:

Coordinates Remote Operations Case Coordinator (CC) assignments and schedules to ensure sufficient coverage of Release Request case flow.

Provides local and day to day oversight, technical assistance, and guidance to assigned CCs to ensure duties are discharged in a timely and efficient manner, and in compliance with program policies and procedures.

Ensures appropriate elevation of individual case issues to customer staff related to clinical, safety and well-being issues for behavioral/mental health and other specialized needs which affect provision of services, placement/level of care, and/or timely release.

Elevates operational concerns to GDIT project leadership.

Writes monthly reports tracking/elevating issues pertaining to area of responsibility.

Participates in special projects as required.

Location:This is a fully remote position, managing a team of fully remote workers based throughout the US.Required:

Candidates will need to successfully clear Tier 2 Public Trust background investigation for this role.

Education and Experience:

MA/MS in Social Work or social science related discipline and at least 5 years post-Master’s experience in child welfare, case management, social services and/or mental health professional roles or;

BSW or BS/BA degree in social sciences related discipline and at least 8 years of post-degree work experience in child welfare, case management, social services, and/or mental health or;

Bachelor’s degree in a discipline outside of Social Work or a social science and at least 10 years of demonstrated child welfare work experience.

Requires documented history of work experience supervising others.

Prior experience working with immigrant youth and families is highly preferred (case management, psycho-social assessments, direct mental health therapy, etc.).
