Our work depends on an Education, Training, and Outreach (ETO) Specialist remotely joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Marketplace Assister Technical Support (MATS) program.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an ETO Specialist, you will be trusted to work on take training needs assessments and develop training materials for customer use. You will also be responsible for working with IT teams to develop and review client deliverables, ensuring Section 508 compliance and create screen language and email templates to support new IT development. In this role, a typical day will include:

Analyzing and documenting training needs for new or existing IT development work in support of multiple stakeholders.

Collaborating with the IT team to develop materials

Collaborate with ETO lead(s) for content development best practices.

Developing training content for instructional accuracy and instructional design best practices.

Creating communications, including email language and response templates, for new or existing IT development work.

Discussing ETO products with clients and assessing the best fit based on training needs.

Designing and developing training materials including user guides, quick reference guides, job aids, and other supporting documentation.

Ensuring products follow instructional design best practices and meet our internal and client standards and style guides, including Section 508 Compliance.

Participating in stakeholder meetings and presenting ETO deliverables and solutions.

Working with internal team of BA’s, Developers, Testers, etc. to make sure that we have the correct information for ETO materials.

Note that the candidate selected for this role will not s tart until late February. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) unless otherwise arranged with their manager.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years prior, relevant full-time work experience

Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders

Experience creating, developing, and maintaining up-to-date training materials

Experince ensuring documents are Section 508 Compliant

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Experience receiving constructive feedback and translating into deliverable improvements

Strong presentation skills

Ability to manage time, set priorities, and work under time constraints

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.

Work Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or a large government clientExperience with CMS CCIIO and/or Marketplace Health Exchanges

Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus but not a requirement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Working knowledge of health care, the ACA, and related issues.

Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback.

Sound analytic, problem solving, and qualitative skills.

Strong customer service skills.

Proven team player; strong relationship building skills both internally and externally.
