Virginia, Charlottesville, 22901 Charlottesville USATechnical Intelligence (TECHINT) ExpertJob Category: IntelligenceTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCIEmployee Type: Regular-Rotational TravelerPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 50%Type of Travel: Outside Continental USIn this role you must display a detailed understanding of Technical Intelligence (TECHINT) tradecraft and methodologies (i.e. device profiling, construction signatures analysis, trend and pattern analysis and comparative analysis) amongst mid, junior, and senior-level analysts and directly support the professional development of all team members.You will be responsible for ensuring that contract TECHINT analysts are proficiently and accurately developing detailed production and network analysis to identify improvised weapon systems, their capabilities and limitations and provide identity attribution to those systems.You will be responsible for proliferating a detailed understanding of the tradecraft amongst senior, mid, and junior level analysts, providing a detailed and robust training platform, and directly supporting the professional development of all team members.You will be responsible for innovation regarding researching and analyzing, database usage, and tradecraft methodologies.Additionally, you will have expert level knowledge of the intelligence cycle, F3EAD and other analytical methodologies to support the research, discovery, and analysis of key individuals and networks and will ensure analytical products and methodologies will provide decision makers with the appropriate relevant information to achieve their objectives for plans and operations.You will also support the delivery of contract deliverables with input into weekly, monthly, and quarterly contract requirements and conduct outward-facing customer engagement.You will report directly to the TNI-IT branch chief.Position responsibilities include:
Possess a detailed understanding of I2 tradecraft, specifically I2 support to TECHINT and exploitation, among I2AS analysts.
Functioning as a subject matter expert (SME) on assigned analytic lines. A strong understanding of improvised weapons systems, violent extremist organizations and great power competition is highly desired.
Writing, reviewing and editing tactical- to operational-level assessments for the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense organizations (Special Operations).
Innovation of tradecraft methodologies and training
Demonstrate knowledge of all Product Acceptance Standards (PAS) and be able to review production to ensure all related production meets government “GO” standards.
Demonstrate superior understanding of the tradecraft needed to perform functions specific to LCAT.
Demonstrate the ability to compile metrics and develop reports for government deliverables and records, respond to customer data calls and meet all metric related output expectations.
Demonstrate the ability to identify critical issues and develop innovative solutions to address them within the teams that have associates LCAT.
The Candidate should bring these qualifications:
Typically requires a BA degree or equivalent and 16 years of related experience. Twenty years or more experience without a BA degree.
Formal Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training as 89D, 31D, 311D, 35F, 350F, 35D, 18F, 180A or DoD joint service equivalent.
Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills.
Must be experienced in analytical TECHINT methodologies (including but not limited to desk side development, F3EAD, Device Profiling, IED Electronics, Homemade Explosives, Explosive Event Exploitation, Post-match Analysis, Center of Gravity and Critical Factors Analysis, CARVER).
Experience in targeting networks or structures and identifying vulnerabilities for exploitation.
Thorough understanding of intelligence community’s Analytic Integrity Standards and Directives (ICD 203, 206, and 208, DIA/NGIC writing style guides, Army Techniques Publication of Intelligence Analysis [ATP 2-33.4], Production Acceptance Standards [PAS]/Product Review Guide [PRG]) and develop /maintain/refine contract quality control methods.
Expert-level understanding of the targeting tradecraft to incorporate trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, network link diagrams, pattern of life (POL) analysis.
Thorough understanding of Analytic Integrity Standards (AIS).
Knowledge and/or experience with SOF and/or counterterrorism intelligence.
Candidate will be expected to maintain a level of customer outreach and continuous collaboration.
Develop analytic methodologies needed to support specialized analytic problems.
Knowledgeable in all intelligence disciplines capabilities, limitations and platforms to include TECHINT, ELINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT and MASINT.
Monitors and analyzes strategic and operational intelligence information.
Collaborate with NGIC analysts to produce research and intelligence products.
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.

Experience with analytical tools and databases including, but not limited to: I2AR, SOFEX, WEAT, Catapult, Chrome, Analyst Notebook, TIDE, Pulse, QLIX, DataXplorer, PROTON, HYDRA, Babel Street, SKOPE Tools, and CHIMERA
A valid United States Passport and remain qualified to travel OCONUS.
Able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screenings as deemed necessary to be considered deployable.
