Level 2-3 Data Center Installers (Max $30/hr W2)

Shift: Nights - Sunday evening to Friday morning - 9:30 pm to 5:30 am (100 percent nights).Local resources only.

The Level 2-3 Installer will perform all basic and intermediate installation work activities in central office environments. The Installer will be coached and mentored as needed.

Skills/General Duties:The Installer must clearly understand the installation and decommissioning of data center equipment.This includes: Labeling - create and apply accurate labels to cables and equipment; installing various types of cables (including fiber optic and copper) while adhering to industry standards and color codes; terminating RJ45 connectors on cables (to ensure reliable network connections); and working with power distribution units (PDUs), fiber optic cables, copper cables, and patch panels to ensure optimal network performance (preferred skill).
