If you are interested in contributing to a member-centric, creative, and collaborative workforce while deeply influencing top leaders and institutions in healthcare, The Academy could be the right place for you!Position Summary:Reporting to the Vice President of Memberships Services, Account Executives on our Member Development team work to grow a member portfolio while providing excellent service to current Academy members. The Senior Director, Member Development is individually responsible for driving renewals and upsells across both Health System and Industry member pools, increasing the overall share of wallet for each account. The Senior Director will work closely with Industry Delivery, Peer Learning, and other members of the Member Development team.Primary Job Duties:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve an increase in overall wallet share within an assigned account pool
Responsible for total renewals in assigned account pool, ensuring year over year renewals with a focus on both revenue and logo retention
Responsible for pool growth in assigned account pool, achieving targets by mapping account priorities, challenges, and opportunities to The Academy solutions
Conduct consultative one-on-one and small group virtual presentations to educate account pool executives on our services and community value proposition
Partner with Industry Delivery and Peer Learning teams to support key member executive relationships to reinforce membership value proposition, manage member risk, and assess overall quality assurance
Partner with the Signature Partnerships team to identify new partners and collaborate on renewals
Ensure accountability of team when onboarding new members and setting up executive relationships for long-term success; proactively looks for ways to improve member experience
Work with Account Management Associate on bi-annual executive reviews, account logistics, and pipeline development
Surface new product ideas through relationship development within the membership
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on productizing offerings in the Health System and Industry company markets
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years’ experience in a Business Development or Account management role
Experience managing and growing existing accounts
Knowledge of healthcare industry and trends
