We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join the AWS Skills Center team.Here's your chance to work as a Technical Product Manager on a newly formed team, with high visibility and significant customer impact. The successful candidate has experience managing technical products and applications, ideally with hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and/or in-depth knowledge of software architecture and virtualization technologies.In this role, you will deliver interactive exhibits that call new learners to pursue their own cloud learning journey. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.Key job responsibilitiesProvide oversight and direction to the team that aligns with business goals and objectives.Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate technical hardware in the Skills Center showroom.Coordinate with internal and external teams to bring cutting edge technology into the program.Ensure all exhibits meet legal and engineering security requirements.Act as Skills Center Ambassador: leading tours and supporting events hosted by the center.Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the AWS Skills Centers program.Work with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure bar-raising interactive exhibits within the AWS Skills Centers.A day in the lifeA day in the life for this position will include tracking issues across the program's global locations and implementing scalable solutions, as well as meeting regularly with Amazon product teams such as Kuiper, Alexa and AWS AI/ML to develop new exhibits that showcase the latest in cloud technology to the AWS Skills Center target audience.About the teamAs cloud technologies continue to transform businesses, skilled individuals are in high demand. 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Experience working with engineering and technical teams to build automated solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
