DescriptionWe are seeking a Pan-Amazon Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategist to join our AWS Corporate Strategy and Business Development team and work on our most complex and strategic pan-Amazon pursuits. This is a unique opportunity to join a centralized corporate team that manages strategic partnerships across all of Amazon. Strategists define a common executive vision, develop a plan to achieve the vision, and build an economic case for change to facilitate deal negotiations and closure. Customers we engage with are looking to be disruptive and leaders in their markets and industries.Key job responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will exhibit excellent business judgment and possess strong business/financial acumen, industry experience (e.g., retail, CPG, automotive, banking, insurance, media, healthcare and life sciences), and technology competence coupled with a track record of working on large, complex, multi-year customer engagements – an analytical, technical and strategic thinker, who is passionate and relentless. In particular, you will: Work with senior leaders from our customers and across Amazon to build a common vision and innovation strategy that helps them reinvent their business Develop roadmaps to achieve the vision with ability to empathize with a large company’s people, process, and technology legacy Build the case for change (incl. business model) and prepare board-ready presentations and briefings for senior executive stakeholder communications Curate and manage repeatable pan-Amazon solutions Influence C-level executives and build trusted relationships Partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams across Amazon and partners, including sales, product, operations, engineering, architecture, professional services, legal, and finance to execute a winning deal Support the strategic objectives and interests of Amazon’s business teams on a global basisAbout the teamAbout AWSDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

5+ years of professional or military experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

MBA

Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain respect of senior management and external executives

Thinks big and is action and results oriented

Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment and the ability to think strategically and analytically about customer challenges

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
