Grazers in Winooski is seeking a lead line cook or kitchen supervisor to join our team. We are a small casual restaurant on the Winooski circle specializing in burgers and sandwiches.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook delicious meals following recipes and portion sizes.

Ensure timely food preparation while maintaining quality standards.

Assist the General Manager in placing weekly food orders.

Keep our small, easy kitchen clean and organized.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines religiously.

Collaborate with our awesome kitchen staff for smooth operations.

Help with meal prep for special dietary needs.

Qualifications:

Previous line cook experience preferred.

Knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation practices.

Can handle a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro.

Great communication skills and a team player attitude.

Basic knife skills and kitchen equipment know-how.

Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
