Seasonal BOH & Fish Market Positions - Block Island

W Food Group seeks team members for the season on Block Island, located off the coast of Rhode Island. Operating as Dead Eye Dick's and Dick's Fish & Provisions. The restaurant is an upscale coastal dining destination focused on creative takes on classic New England dishes. On site is an associated fish market selling fresh seafood, live lobsters, prepared foods and retail. Currently looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to relocate to Block Island for the busy season.

Positions available include:

- Prep Cook: portion foods, make sauces, chop vegetables, clean shellfish and generally prepare foods per Chef's specifications.

- Line Cook: Rotate through stations, especially raw bar and fry stations. Ability to shuck oysters a big plus. Must have kitchen experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

- Fish Market Prep/Counter help - prep seafood, grab and go salads & sushi for Fish Market. Work counter, helping customers, weighing & cutting fish.

Dormitory-style housing available within walking/biking distance to job sites. Rent, utilities and laundry included in compensation package. Overtime available. Ideal availability ASAP - Oct 12.
