As our Profit Improvement Manager, you will develop relationships with your assigned business areas (e.g. Finance, Store Operations, Supply Chain) and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the annual profit improvement goal (PIC goal) for that team. Your role will be to establish and execute a strategy for meeting the annual PIC goal, monitor your initiatives, measure the P&L impact and see your projects to completion.Burlington is committed to being an employer of choice. Work with the leaders for their areas to establish and execute a strategy for meeting the annual PIC goal. Ensures successful achievement of the PIC goal by tracking progress of each project, determining the P&L impact of initiatives and ensuring results are reflected in the financial forecast. Personally identifies, defines and drives projects to contribute to the PIC goal for their areas. Supports assigned areas in idea generation and vetting. Ensures a sufficient pipeline of ideas are identified, prioritized and assessed to meet the areas’ objectives. Acts as a subject matter expert on the PIC process. Fosters and enables a continuous improvement culture across the company through active engagement of associates in process improvement initiative identification and implementation.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or other analytical field. 4-10 years of experience in a project management, consulting or financial analysis roles with increasing responsibility.
