What you’ll doDevelop and debug embedded firmware for bare-metal microcontroller, RTOS, System on Chip, and Single Board Computer systemsWork closely with project and product management to derive technical requirements from product requirementsWork with hardware engineering team to bring up new boards, systemsUse a data and statistical method to analyze and resolve design issuesWrite control system code for actuators (motors, solenoids, etc), including PID tuning and dynamic controlIntegrate and analyze sensor data (optical, thermal, reflective, etc.), focusing on signal processing and noise reductionTroubleshoot and debug low-level hardware interfaces such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, and GPIODevelop internal tools (in C or C) to aid testing, automation, and manufacturing processesParticipate in code reviews, documentation, and revision control to ensure high firmware quality and scalabilityCollaborate across engineering teams to support full product lifecycle
