Job Summary:
We are looking for an in-house lawyer to spearhead the development and implementation of the company's contract review and management program; assist with data privacy processes and compliance; and assist with regulatory and industry compliance matters. This position will report to the General Counsel.

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including customer, vendor, and other third-party contracts.
Developing cross-functional relationships and facilitating decision-making among the legal team and other internal business teams, including sales, marketing, operations and fleet, accounting, human resources, risk, and information technology.
Developing and maintaining standard contract templates and compliance policies and driving efficiencies in the contracting process.
Developing and overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of the company's contracting process and contract management system.
Preparing, reviewing, and revising non-disclosure and other agreements based on existing forms and templates.
Reviewing, revising, and approving branch location and depot leasing agreements and amendments, as well as tenant estoppel and subordination non-disturbance and attornment agreements.
Overseeing the improvement of Legal Department processes to increase efficiencies and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
Managing compliance with applicable laws and regulations and undertaking legal research and analysis to stay current on legal developments that may impact the company, particular in HR and environmental areas.
Advising on data privacy and protection matters, including compliance with international regulations, US regulations, and state regulations, data transfer requirements, e-privacy and marketing, and data processing provisions in customer and vendor contracts.
Developing and maintaining data privacy compliance framework and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with legal processes and procedures.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate as a member of a team and interface and work effectively with the Legal Department and with other departments within the company.
Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated.
Attention to detail.
