Create, edit, and deliver engaging content across various mediums (e.g., publications, blogs, radio spots, social media, mass emails) to effectively promote our brand.
Develop long-form content for articles, white papers, etc., and short-form content, for website, social media, etc., that align with the brand and mission
Support the marketing department in the development and implementation of materials and campaigns
Provide marketing and logistical support for events, programs, and initiatives (pre-show setup, registration, runner, etc.)
Maintain and elevate relationships with community partners and members through communication efforts
Stay up to date on business trends and news to provide suggestions for incorporation into communication efforts
Assist in the production of multimedia content (webinars, video blogs, podcasts, live streaming, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the organization's overall success.
Skills and Experience Required:
Preferred associate degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; 2 years equivalency considered in relevant work experience.
Experience with AP Style, business writing and/ or copy writing
Strong written and oral communication skills
Eye for detail; prooing and copyediting skills required - AP Style proficiency
Organized professional who can manage conflicting deadlines
Positive, team player; able to work with multiple departments in various capacities
Creative self-starter and problem solver
Passionate about local business community
