Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a Maintenance Technician to assist in building maintenance and machine repair. This position will be a helping hand that can ride along with our Head Facilities Tech to button up some outstanding maintenance and carpentry, specifically in Ogden. A primary focus will be performing basic drywall, flooring, and minor electrical work. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively problem solve to quickly make repairs on facilities and equipment. Job Responsibilities Include:
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
Perform basic drywall, flooring, and minor electrical work
Completes work assignments and priorities in a timely manner
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, plumbing, etc.)
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills
Excellent mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
Effective communication skills; speak, read and write English
Ability to work nights and weekends (as needed)
Ability to travel within the state of Utah
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Education and Work Experience (preferred, NOT required):
Refrigeration, Plumbing and Electrical repair experience
Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Course work or certification in welding, electrical, mechanical automation, or industrial electronics
