Architectural Draftsperson

SBLM, a national architectural firm, is seeking a full time Architectural Drafter to join our developing Utah team. Find out more about us at www.sblm.com.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or 1-2 years of drafting experience, creative, organized, self-motivated and a fast learner.

Responsibilities:

Create construction documents

Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques

Code and finish research; compiling and recording information for assigned project work.

Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and implements any changes as directed

Assist project teams and other staff members as required.

Requirements and qualifications:

BA Arch or BS Arch degree required or in progress

AutoCAD required, Revit a plus

Working knowledge of construction drawings

Experience in retail and commercial projects a plus

Excellent communication skills with ability to work well under deadlines
