As a Pastry Cook, you will work closely with the Pastry Chef to ensure the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConvert recipes and standard measurements into daily production requirements.Assist the Pastry Chef with daily preparation and production while maintaining a positive, self-motivated attitude.Review function sheets, restaurant requisitions, and special requests to plan and prioritize daily tasks.Prepare and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.Practice proper stock rotation, storage, and handling procedures to minimize waste and product spoilage.Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, adhering to all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.Monitor inventory levels and submit requisitions for supplies as needed.Complete engineering or maintenance work orders when necessary to support the upkeep of kitchen equipment and facilities.Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
