What You’ll Work On

The Electronics Assembler is responsible for the assembly processes of finished products and product sub-assemblies including circuit boards, cables, and other related mechanical product assemblies. This position works efficiently and productively on their own assemblies and in group situations where individuals have common production assembly goals. Electronic Assemblers are cross trained in multiple production areas which enables re-assignment according to product assembly demand. Both individual and group performance is monitored, measured, and reported including measures for quality workmanship and process efficiency. You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks

Stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Build products according to standardized production processes for product quality and performance.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Report variances in production processes and quality that vary from established standards.

Actively participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and training.

Work with both large and small components.

Observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

What We're Looking For

High School Graduate, or GED Certificate.

An individual who is aligned with our ARCTIC Values (Accountability, Respect, Client-centric, Teamwork, Innovation and Continuous Improvement).

Someone who places importance on working hard, having fun, and building great relationships with their peers.

Ability to read and interpret instruction documents written in the English language.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Ability to work under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines without compromising quality.

IPC 610-D standards and practical training preferred.

IPC WHMA-A-620 standards and practical training preferred.

1-3 years of electronic or general manufacturing experience preferred.

Hand soldering experience, preferred.

Understanding of ISO 9001:2015, preferred.

Work Environment Typical light manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. of equipment over short distances as needed during fulfilling job responsibilities.
