Sr Java Engineer

Current opening for a Senior Software Engineer located in LehiThis role will involve the development and design of large-scale systems, combining elements of Big Data, enhancing the end-user experience, system performance / scalability to improve reliability.Prior engineering leadership, strong communication skills will be critical to the functionality of this role

• Oversee one or several teams within software development in the design, development, and functionality
• Establish architecture, best practices, and standards
• Establish team goals, activities, participate in team-related meetings, team planning and other related activities
• Project features and functionality within software release cycle working with product management
• Preside over software code & design peer reviews
• Conduct unit testing and developing source code
• Provide mentoring and training across range of experienced engineers

• 8+ Years of relevant technical experience
• 3+ Years of technical product processes
• Bachelor’s degree or similar professional experience
• Master’s Preferred
• Software Development Management / Team Lead

• Significant experience engineering several major software releases
• High Level experience in Java and Linux
• Ability to create and design programming solutions, and implement across the organization’s architecture
• Significant experience working within n-tier enterprise systems (interface, database(s) and domain logic)
• Strong self-direction to provide instruction within SDLC aligning with organization’s best practices and processes, utilizing new technologies
• Experience within large-scale, complex systems preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in team-based environment
• Ability to assimilate in a professional office environment
