Commercial/Industrial door and hardware installer - Travel required

Job Description

- General carpentry with and emphasis on doors, frames and hardware.

Installation examples:

- Hollow metal door frames

- Aluminum door frames

- Commercial HM and wood doors

- Stainless steel doors and frames.

- Industrial fiberglass doors and frames.

- Hurricane door and frames.

- All aspects of commercial door hardware. Closers, exit devices, locksets of every type.

- Access control experience/ electrical hardware

- Welding experience is a plus.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of construction experience

- Able to lift 50 pounds

- Able to take direction

- Able to read plans, schedules, templates and installation instructions.

- Able to safely operate tools and equipment

- Able to work with minimal supervision and be a self starter

- Able to pass a background check and drug screen

- Able to work overtime

- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation

- Must have personal hand tools and select power tools

- Overnight out of town travel required.

Compensation

- Starting total compensation range is $20 - $30 / hr (depending on skill and experience)

- Time and a half all hours over 40.

- Paid vacation after 1 year

- Paid holidays after 90 days

- Per diem and travel expenses paid for out of town and/or overnight stays.

- Occasional added premium for select project sites or shifts
