Cardiac SonorgapherWork location: Texas Health Texas Health Stephenville 411 Belknap TX 76401Work hours: Full Day Days (32 Hours)Department highlights:Team based environment with cardiac focusExcellent patient and staff satisfaction resultsCollaborative culture with all departments and CardiologistsHere’s What You NeedEducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredAssociate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology preferredExperience1 year experience preferably in a hospital setting preferredLicenses and CertificationsRDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required OrRCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredWhat You Will DoImaging Procedures, Quality and Processing:Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to examPositions patient to correct anatomical area of interestPerforms complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerationsAdjusts techniques parameters appropriately for age related factorRecognizes normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology relevant to adult echocardiography.
