Accounts Payable Clerk (Government)

Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for our Government division. The candidate will be responsible for handling our financial and processing tasks to help our department run smoothly.Responsibilities:

Process and record transactions accurately and timely.

Verify accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Dealing with vendors in a diplomatic and effective manner.

Follow strict confidentiality protocols relating to both vendor and government information.

Requirements

Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software's.

Strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
