Job DescriptionResponsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to the instrumental studies (band, orchestra) areas within the School of Music as part of a dynamic team of artists and educators in an energetic and diverse environment.Job DutiesThis position reports to the Director of the School of Music.

Budget—Maintain ensemble, camp, festival, and grant accounts assigned to band and orchestra. Collect equipment fees and clear holds. Purchase equipment, supplies, and music for the areas. Track inventory of equipment, instruments, and music.

Facilities—Room scheduling for classes, rehearsals, and special events. Locker assignments. Provide technical support.

Events—Secure concert dates and venues. Oversee production of programs, posters, and other concert materials for ensembles, students, and guest artists. Support guest artists, including honoraria, travel, housing, and parking permits. Logistical arrangements for tours and other group travel.

Engagement—Support area websites, social media, event promotion, outreach programs for youth, and community-building around band and orchestra through engagement of local audiences, alumni, and prospective students.

Other related duties as assigned by the Director.
