Diesel Truck Mechanic

This position is located in Bandera TX.

This is a Dayshift Position working on eighteen wheelers and ready mix trucks and light heavy equipment repairs and services.

Preferred Knowledge AirBrakes, Electrical, Air Condtion, Engines, oil changes, belts, hoses, hydraulics, tires etc.

Ability to diagnose basic mechanical problems and successfully repair the equipment

Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices

Must be able to perform a variety of skilled duties which will involve inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Service equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition in the quarries and for D.O.T.

Meet all company and governmental and equipment related safety requirements

Must maintain a safe work environment

Provide own tools and possess ability to safely and effectively use them

Must be able to perform basic computer operations

Must understand and speak fluent English and Spanish

Must be able to document services of what’s been done and be able to schedule future PMs.
