Custodian / Janitor

CUSTODIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE RESPOND WITH JOB EXPERIENCE

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily / upon request, the duties include, but are not limited to:

o Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facilities

o Completing all daily assignments in a timely and efficient manner

o Sweeping and mopping outdoor hallways, stairwells, etc.

o Cleaning elevators and breakroom

o Removing trash and debris – lift up to 50 lbs.

o Deodorizing and replenishing supplies in pool restrooms

o Clean windows and door glass

Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor

Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.

Reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Receives supervision from the Maintenance Supervisor. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The principal duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment. Works standing and walking for prolonged periods of time while cleaning and/sanitizing work area. Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part of job.
