Hourly Wage Plus Tips - Alamo Ranch LocationThe WingIt Cashier/ Line Cook position is multi-faceted and encompasses both the customer service aspect as well as food preparation aspect in the Alamo Ranch location which is primarily online and kiosk-based service. Shifts may incorporate duties in either or both capacities.WingIt Cashiers are responsible for maintaining positive impressions and delivering excellent customer service. They possess a warm and friendly personality that will make customers feel at home and want to come back again. The Cashier is a team player, consistently aware of what is going on behind the counter and in the kitchen, and ready to help get the job done.The duties of the Cashier include, but are not limited to the following:· Accurately and efficiently take customer orders.· Accept payments. Occasionally fulfill daiquiri to go orders.· Report issues with equipment.· Consistently follow cleaning and sanitation standards.· Consistently follow procedures and policies.· Follow the opening, mid-day, and closing checklists and assist others in meeting objectives.· Attend scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.· Other duties as assigned.The WingIt Line Cook helps prepare meals as per standard recipes and will be responsible for creating meal portions, cooking meals, and keeping a sanitized work area. The Line Cook is committed to impeccable food preparation which is important to our customers and vital to creating repeat business. The Line Cook is a team player, willing to work with others to get the job done.The duties of the Line Cook include, but are not limited to the following:· Prepare meals using standard recipes.· Memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and basic meal preparation procedures used in the kitchen.· Ensure that the kitchen, all food preparation, and storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.· Work with the team to do prep work for other shifts when needed.· Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.· Monitor product freshness and rotate products based on a schedule created by the restaurant.· Consistently follow kitchen procedures and policies.· Follow the opening, mid-day, and closing checklists and assist others in meeting objectives.· Attend scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.· Other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:· Oriented toward serving others and helping customers.· Excellent customer service skills.· Ability to stand for long periods.· Excellent verbal communication.· Attention to detail.· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.· Ability to stand for long periods.· Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.· Attention to detail.· Knowledge of or willingness to learn point-of-sale systems.Education and Training Requirements:· Prior restaurant experience.· Prior experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.· High school diploma or GED, if applicable. Must be at least 18 years of age.· Possess or obtain current Food Handler certificate.· Possess or obtain current TABC certificate.
