Contract Accountant

Description Robert Half is seeking a Contract Accountant to add to its team. The contract accountant will oversee contracts and perform accounting functions for a home building company. As a contract accountant, you will review, manage, specify, and close out contracts as well as perform other accounting duties. A strong candidate in the client's eye will also have a strong Accounts Payable background. If you are looking to join a team in a fast pace and rewarding environment then this is the job for you. Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly review packages

Review and analyze manufacturing variances and operating expenses

Reconcile monthly inventory balances and perform month-end closing and reporting

Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting

Perform manufacturing FP& A - product transfer, benchmarking, and cost savings

Minimum 3- 5 years of accounting/finance experience with contracts

Drive and advise on the month-end financial reporting processes of the entire group

Prepare the corporate monthly financial reports for the executive management team

Consolidating and providing commentaries on the monthly reports of both the local and global entities that make up the group

Provide accounting and technical advice to other finance teams throughout the business and will require you to liaise with counterparts on a regular basis
