Senior Applications Engineer - Sensor Communications

onsemi and the High Performance Sensing team is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer to support and enable our fast-growing Single Pair Ethernet product line. Work with industry leaders to define and enable next generation mixed-signal sensor communications solutions for onsemi.Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical applications support to customers.

Help debug product and system issues with customers designing in our products.

Engage with customers as a technical leader and expert to help win new opportunities and drive long-term roadmap alignment.

Provide system level understanding and expertise to guide product roadmaps, definition and feature set.

Translate customer requirements into optimum system partitioning, analyzing tradeoffs, and delivering device specification that is ready to be designed.

Synthesize requirements for advanced process and IP development and collaborate with central teams to realize them, tracking progress and adherence to specs.

Participate and steer standards bodies and committees to ensure onsemi remains at the forefront of developments.

Create high quality datasheets and application notes.

Write promotional articles highlighting new products.

Train Sales and Distribution on existing and new products.

Work closely with the Marketing Team to create technical marketing collateral.
