Location: Irving, TX Description: Our client is currently seeking a Scala Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Scala Developer who will work on designing, architecting & developing technical solutions across managed security portfolio of products. Responsible for developing and building data streaming solutions primarily using Scala. Works across product managers, architects, development team and other teams to come up with solution approach to solve technical problems. Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology field in architecting solutions and building software. Minimum 3 years of experience in Scala development. Development experience with Akka, Spark or similar streaming frameworks. Development experience in processing massive amounts of data Strong testing and version control experience; Gatling, Scalatest, ScalaCheck, Git Development experience using AWS services like S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS and EMR. Experience in Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Fisheye Crucible, etc.) Knowledge of Big Data Technologies like Hive, Presto, Kafka, Spark. Ability to work with global teams in a fast paced dynamic agile and outcome driven environment?
