Computer Repair/Technician

Bass Computers is a wholesale distributor of computers, servers, security equipment, and refurbished products. We are looking for qualified computer and security technicians to join our team! The successful candidates will help build, maintain, and repair computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

-Assemble, install and configure computer components, including operating software or peripheral equipment

-Analyze, test and adjust computer components to ensure quality performance

-Clean equipment, parts, and tools to keep them in good working order

-Be aware of and follow all safety procedures

-Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems

-Ensure all hardware and software is up to date and install updates as required

-Read technical information needed to assemble computers

-Complete inventory of incoming electronic recycling items; responsibilities include processing, counting and sorting equipment

-Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills:

-3 years’ minimum experience building computers

-Familiar with most computer components and software

-3 years’ experience with networking equipment, including hubs, routers, switches, servers, and VPN technology

-Experience with Excel a plus

-Relevant Certifications (i.e. Comp TIA A+) a plus

-Excellent troubleshooting skills

-Strong attention to details

-Bilingual speaking preferred
