Apartment Leasing Associate

We are seeking a motivated and personable Apartment Leasing Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring high occupancy rates, and delivering top-notch customer service to current and prospective tenants. Spanish speaking is preferred to better serve our diverse community. The role requires the flexibility to be at different properties at various times to show apartments to potential tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner.
Conduct property tours and highlight the benefits of the community and individual apartments.
Respond to leasing inquiries through phone, email, and in-person promptly.
Process applications, perform background checks, and prepare leasing documents.
Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities.
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
Address resident concerns and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Assist with marketing and advertising initiatives to promote available units.
Maintain knowledge of the local real estate market and competitor offerings.
Ensure compliance with all housing regulations and company policies.
Manage a portfolio of properties, requiring visits to different locations as needed.
Ensure all tenants are paying rent and assist with rent collection.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in leasing, property management, or sales is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack and property management software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Spanish speaking is preferred.
