Job Title: Property Manager/Bookkeeper

Compensation: Based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Property Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a 119,648 rentable square feet (RSF) commercial property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring prompt tenant payments, facilitating lease renewals and new agreements, resolving maintenance issues, and maintaining the property’s overall efficiency. A minimum of two years’ experience in property management is required, along with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive revenue growth by ensuring timely tenant payments, proactively managing lease retention, and completing lease renewals efficiently.

- Ensure smooth property operations by maintaining proper inventory levels for administrative and maintenance supplies.

- Oversee and manage the performance of third-party contractors to ensure high-quality work.

- Collaborate with the building engineer to coordinate and address necessary repairs and maintenance promptly.

- Resolve tenant issues swiftly, providing excellent service and maintaining strong tenant relationships.

- Prepare and submit accurate monthly reports within set deadlines.

- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold high standards and recommend necessary capital improvements or repairs.

- Represent the company with professionalism, adhering to all company policies and maintaining a professional appearance.

- Support the team by taking on additional duties as needed, contributing to overall property success.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience: At least 2 years of property management experience

Experience: At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

Language Skills: Must be fluent in English

Skills & Abilities:

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks (required)

- Strong ability to manage tenant payments and effectively address tenant requests

- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills

- Expertise in customer service, conflict resolution, and crisis management

- Proven ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment

- Highly trustworthy, self-motivated, and proactive

- Skilled in coordinating and managing third-party contractors

- Detail oriented (required)
