Extrusion Operator

Company location – NW side of Houston

Pay - $15.00hr - $18.00/hr.

Shift hours – 11pm-730am

Monday - Friday (Must be open to work OT / weekends as needed)

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

- Prepare extrusion equipment and related machinery for production, including changeovers and set-ups, and communicate with the Shift Lead Operator to ensure accurate and efficient production runs. This includes reviewing print information on all job orders.

- Set up and change over production lines by assembling tooling, fixturing, materials, etc., required for upcoming work orders. This is essential for maximizing production up-time and continuous improvement in set-up processes.

- Continuously review and inspect product specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards and production rate goals.

- Assist with housekeeping, packaging, safety, and security as needed. Report unsafe acts or conditions, and help maintain plant security.

- Provide support to other operators/lines as required. Replace or assist other positions when needed.

Comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, and safety procedures as outlined by the supervisor.

- Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation within the assigned area.
