Companion/Caregiver needed for my dad in Bay City Texas

Looking for full time live-in companion/caregiver for my 85 year old father. The perfect candidate would become his companion/caregiver assisting in all activities of daily living. He currently lives alone and has one cat. He is ambulatory and uses a walker or sometimes a wheelchair. He bathes and dresses himself. He still makes all decisions, drives occasionally, and likes good conversation. Duties include but not limited to light cleaning, laundry, kitty litter duties, meal preparation, grocery shopping, running errands, and assisting as needed. Prefer someone with a driver license and may use his car as needed. He may need assistance with transfers like from bed to wheelchair as he becomes weaker with age. We prefer someone with experience taking care of older adults and with references if possible.

Honest family here looking to provide room and meals plus a monthly salary for that special someone with experience to tend to my father. We have a salary in mind but would like you to express what you need.
