We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist Lead like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Lead Scrub Tech is in a role to oversee a service line and cares for patients including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other clinical disciplines in making decisions regarding patient care. Works with professional and non-professional employees of the hospital and with physicians, patients, and their families.
What you will do in this role:
Responsible for Scrub Tech duties for surgical procedures.
Responsible for assisting surgeon as needed in operative procedure.
Responsible for planning and implementing set up for surgical procedure.
Functions as the product line expert / lead resource and has knowledge of ordering supplies and instruments.
Precepts new hires in that service line.
Responsible for following AORN Standard of Practice as they apply to aseptic techniques.
Supports mission, goals, and objectives of the hospital.
Assumes responsibility for call as scheduled.
Adheres to and complies with HCA's Code of Conduct as part of our Ethics and Compliance Program. Attends annual training sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:
Completion of an Accredited Surgical Tech Program. Required
1+ year(s) of experience Preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support. Required
