As a SeniorLogistics Consultant,you will execute full sales lifecycleprocesses from pre-work,detailed discovery conversations, andinformative meetings in order to identify the needs of prospective clientsand perform as a trusted advisor for their freight forwarding needs. Requirements:

Minimum 3years' experience directly selling Ocean and/orAirservices within a freight forwarder required.

Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.

Ability to workindependently and with limited supervision.

Solid understanding of local territory and market opportunities.

High emotional intelligence,personal integrity, and huntermentality.

Ability to travel (locally) to meet with clients.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word andExcel.

Responsibilities:

Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.).

Present OEC Group's service offers:Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.

Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management(based off monthlysalary).

Collaborate with CRM Specialists to createsales presence in localmarket.

Maintaincommunication with internal teams as well asoverseasoffices.

Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.

Salary:

$55,000 - $80,000/annual basesalary + uncapped sales commission. Base salary dependent on industry and salesexperience.
