Order Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Order Entry Clerk located in Houston, Texas. The role is primarily within the customer service industry, with a focus on maintaining customer relationships and ensuring smooth order processing. The job involves handling customer orders, resolving non-technical issues, and working closely with other teams to maintain inventory.Responsibilities: Handle customer orders and provide updates on deliveries Use software for efficient order processing Collaborate with other teams to maintain inventory Resolve customer inquiries professionally and efficiently Maintain detailed records of transactions and customer interactions Monitor customer credits and order statuses Provide real-time inventory updates Generate customer invoices and issue credit notes Receive and handle purchase orders Ensure secure document storage Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service Experience with order entry and managing purchase orders Ability to create and manage customer invoices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer queries effectively Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
