Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, auto sort conveyor systems, and boilers. This role primarily involves mechanical maintenance, but low to mid-level electrical repairs will also be required. You will perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, replace airlines, maintain auto sort systems driven by conveyors and motors, and repair or replace chains, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, and wheels. Additional tasks include working on pumps and performing preventive maintenance (PM) to keep machines running efficiently. You will also handle specific work orders requiring various repairs and conduct electrical repairs such as wiring up 3-phase motors and repairing relays, sensors, and drives.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.Work EnvironmentLarge climate-controlled facility. It can get hot due to the machinery. Technicians will work between two sites located close to each other. The position is for the 1st shift (5:00am-1:30/2:30pm Monday-Friday) with flexibility required for potential breakdowns on 2nd/3rd shifts.
