Description We are seeking an experienced Applications Manager with expertise in PowerApps to lead our application development and integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional teams, designing, developing, and implementing various applications, and a deep understanding of PowerApps development and integration capabilities. The Applications Manager will play a critical role in driving innovation, optimizing business processes, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet our organization's needs.Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align application strategies with organizational goals.

Develop and maintain the applications roadmap, ensuring that it supports the company's long-term objectives and technological advancements.

Team Leadership:

Lead a team of developers and analysts in the design, development, integration, and maintenance of applications.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Application Development:

Oversee the design and development of custom applications using PowerApps, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.

Drive the implementation of scalable and efficient solutions to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.

Integration and Support:

Manage the integration of applications with existing systems, databases, and third-party platforms to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications.

Conduct regular testing, code reviews, and audits to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Vendor Management:

Evaluate third-party solutions, tools, and services, and manage vendor relationships to support application development and integration efforts effectively.

Documentation and Training:

Develop comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to facilitate user adoption and knowledge transfer.

Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users and stakeholders on application functionalities, best practices, and new features.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development and management, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Proficiency in PowerApps development and integration, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and Power Automate (Flow).

Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and Office 365 suite.

Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality applications on time and within budget.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Functional Consultant) are a plus.
