Applications Systems Analyst - Academic Operations

The mission of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.The Applications Systems Analyst will provide support for the institutionally-approved Medical (and other Healthcare staff) credentialing system. This position will perform configuration changes according to MD Anderson policies and procedures; interact with the vendors to implement features and requirements; maintain documentation, security clearances, disaster recovery procedures, w rite custom data load scripts to import information into the credentialing system and interact with other systems, extract information from the credentialing system for reporting, w rites custom SQL to manage data as necessary.This position will also support department users by p erforming root-cause analysis, investigating errors, helping users from MS&CS utilize the credentialing application to its fullest. The Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for maintaining servers to include patching and configuration of Microsoft Windows Server systems hosting the application.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree.ExperienceRequired: Two years experience in Epic software, domain, analysis, design, project management, or programming.
